Patricia Schwindt, CPA was born in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Accounting. She began her career in San Francisco with the international firm "Hurdman and Cranston". She worked for various local firms in the Bay Area before moving to Point Arena in 1983 where she began her own CPA firm. In 1998 she married Lloyd Cross and encouraged him to join her in her practice. A member of the AICPA and California Society of CPA's, she specializes in individual taxation and in working with small business owners. She has a knack for straightening up accounting tangles. Her secret wish is to be a detective.
	Lloyd Cross, CPA was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and raised in the United Kingdom. He returned to California after graduating with a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Salford in Manchester, England. His experience includes computer programming, holographic system design and analysis, charter school management, accounting, tax, business development and ditch digging. He is our payroll specialist and general trouble-shooter. He brings a sense of order and calm to our consulting engagements. Lloyd's motto is: "Structure is Freedom".
	Erin Piper was born in Panorama City, California.  She moved to Mendocino County in 1991.   She is married to Robert Piper and lives on the Piper Ranch on Mountain View Road.  She is working on her BA in Accounting and will soon get her Enrolled Agent’s license.  Erin considers herself a “Jackie” of all trades and loves to learn new skills.  She began working for us in October of 2006.  She left in 2007 to give birth to her first daughter, Hattie and returned in January of 2008.  In July of 2011 she went on maternity leave to give birth to her second daughter, Billy Lynn.  She will be returning in January of 2012.
	Jennifer Sundstrom was born and raised on the North Coast.  Since she loves the outdoors and living close to her family, she has chosen to live here with her son, Colby and to build her future here.  She has worked for her father helping to run his business and doing his bookkeeping since 1997 and continues to do so.  She joined our team in August of 2009. Because she finds great pleasure in math, numbers and solving puzzles ,  the accounting profession is something she finds very interesting and enjoyable.  She plans to further her education in the accounting and tax fields as she truly believes that you should never stop learning.
	Jane Melia   moved to Point Arena with her husband in 1989. Before moving, she had been working for an attorney in Berkeley.  Shortly after moving to the North Coast, she was hired as secretary for the newly formed Gualala Community Services District.  It was in this capacity that she and Patricia first worked together.  Two years after coming to Point Arena,   Jane and her husband had their son, Tony who changed their lives even more.   After leaving the GCSD,   Jane worked part time jobs for a consulting firm in Gualala and a home health care agency in Fort Bragg.  Jane has been working in our office since April of 2008.  In her free time,   she enjoys walks on the beach and hiking the local rivers and ocean bluffs with her husband, Bud.
